Please release some LEE HOLDRIDGE......music in 2013.
This great composer has some excellent scores from the 70's and 80's just waiting to be transferred from LP to CD, in addition to the many unreleased scores that would make fantastic premier releases.
I'm hoping Kritzerland might make some in-roads in this department come 2013.

If you wanna hear how great a melodist he is, click below

I agree. There are plenty of Holdridge scores out there to release. I wonder how the last few Intrada releases of his stuff sold though.

I don't think he's a big seller, certainly not in the Goldsmith, Williams or Silvestri range, but he must have a core following like David Newman and Jerry Fielding do, so limiting his stuff to around the 1000 mark is always a good idea.
BSX seem to be his main champions these days, so big thanks to them for shining the light.

If memory serves, I think IN SEARCH OF PEACE and THE EXPLORERS both sold-out for Intrada, which is good.

I would love an expanded release of his score from Mists Of Avalon.

He wrote 2.5 hours of music for the show, so there's like 1.5 hours of unreleased material here. ...assuming all he wrote was recorded though.

I remember when I watched the show years ago there was some really big epic stuff from the end that was left out on the CD, which would have been cool to get.

I'd buy a re-release of EL PUEBLO DEL SOL in a second - what a magnificent work! Alas, it's not gonna happen...

That's great to hear Ford, much obliged.

I won't mind if it's new stuff or re-issued LP stuff like Jeremy, Forever Young, Forever Free or Other Side Of The Mountain Part 2 . It's all great!

Despite the film's awful reviews, I wouldn't be surprised to see Liz and Dick get released next year.

I'm on board for more Lee Holdridge. Bring it on, I don't care what it is. He isn't capable of writing a bad score.

Though I would say that hopefully some label is looking into Wizards and Warriors.

In fact, I think I'm going to so spin up Old Gringo right now.

Ford - good to know...my own personal wish would be for a remastered deluxe treatment of Beastmaster, but anything by Holdridge is good wink

I would second a complete treatment of THE BEASTMASTER. What a great score.

Other items... A re-issue of EAST OF EDEN...

And... A more comprehensive release of the music for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with his, Don Davis and William Ross' music. That would be incredible.

I have also really enjoyed the many documentary scores he has scored. More of those would be lovely.

Some good calls above.
Although I tend to prefer new releases to re-issues, some of his old LP's (Jeremy, Forever Young, Forever Free and Other Side Of The Mountain 2) would make great CD releases, as they contain some fantastic music.
I'd also love to hear Sylvester on CD, without the dialogue and sound FX on my tape dub.
More unreleased classical works by him would also be welcome, as the previous ones from Citadel and Bay Cities are amazing!
I assume there is a lot of music missing from The Beastmaster CD (I'm not that familiar with the film, having only seen it once or twice) judging from some posts above. I've always been happy with the CD already released and if I'm honest, it's never been a huge favourite either, as the main theme sails distractingly close to Battlestar Galactica's main theme.
I would love someone to release the LP re-recording of his Splash score, with it's smoother, more lush recording and because it's the version I grew up with.
Mr Mom is another popular call, but that's another score I'm not overly familiar with, apart from a catchy pop-ish main theme and some parody moments of other scores.
I should add thanks to Intrada, who along with BSX, are the main champions of his work these days.
