Great deal, Lukas. (Too bad I already have all the freebies.) I hope others will take advantage of it. To paraphrase Joni Mitchell, those CD's play real good for free.

DAMN!
Week ago I ordered 7 titles, with 3 FSM (Outland, The World, the Flesh and the Devil & Wait Until Dark). And Eye of the Devil WAS in my wish-list. Verrrrry sad.

Thank you, Mr. K, for this offer.

I was one who horked up the full price for the Raksin set before it got offered for free, so I'm pleased to get a shot at a freebie, too.

PROPHECY shall be mine!

Well, I think I'll use this freebie deal as an excuse to finally get a copy of THE FIVE THOUSAND FINGERS OF DR. TERWILLKER! I think I'll team that up with NORTH DALLAS FORTY and take RIDE VAQUERO!/THE OUTRIDERS for free! Thanks!

Would anyone care to give some suggestions about the choice for the free CD(s). I am not familiar with any of them.

Never So Few/7 Women is very good. Never So Few is very golden age in style. It's a WWII movie which is the score I bought it for, but discovered 7 Women in the process. Very unusual music for the type of film it is. Incorporates jazz.

Crossed Swords is fabulous. Its really sad that wasn't a sell- out. It baffles the mind.

A tough question to answer since we don't know your tastes (what eras you like, what composers you like, what styles you prefer).

I'll go out on a limb and make a case for THE SWAN since it will have the prettiest, most tonal, most romantic music. And the most gorgeous-est pictures!

No wait! PROPHECY, because it will have the most primal, most gut-quaking, most horrifying music.

And the most oooogly-iest pictures!

I guess I could have clarified that. John Williams is my favorite composer and I don't think we will ever see another release as great as the blue box. Lately I have been listening to Clue, Blazing Saddles, Karate Kid 2, Goonies, and Ben Hur. I also just bought the Intrada BTTF which is excellent.

No wait! PROPHECY, because it will have the most primal, most gut-quaking, most horrifying music.

I have always hated horror movies, but strangely I have been enjoying the music.(Puppet Master, Halloween, The Thing, etc.) Something I never thought would happen. I will check out Prophecy. And yes that picture is nasty.

Prophecy I don't have and it has been in my FSM wishlist. All the rest I do. Another nice offer Lukas. I'm not crazy about the title restrictions though. I hope you broaden the choice of titles with additional, newer titles in the future and perhaps doing something like this on a monthly basis with newer titles each time would be a great incentive for people who want to catch up on FSM releases. Personally, I would have ordered more than $50 if I had newer FSM titles to work with. And YES 'Eye Of The Devil' is a terrific film score (and movie). Recommended to anyone who wants to take advantage of this FSM offer.

One would have to be a miscreant swine to not avail themselves of this swell deal.

I hope I did it right by putting in notes "I would like as my freebies...".

Here was my order:
Days of Heaven
Ace Eli and the Rodger of the Skies
Logan's Run
Poltergeist
Under Fire

Freebies:
The Ice Pirates
Prophecy

I have been considering ST: Ron Jones for some time so this was as nice an excuse as I am likely to get along with a few other CDs. Much obliged Lucas.

I'm not sure I ever would have gotten Ice Pirates, Swan, Prophecy, or Eye of the Devil otherwise. You keep expanding my film score horizon.

Surprise surprise, that would be me. If there was five FSM titles that I wanted, I'd already own them. Why go the considerable expense of buying three titles that I didn't fancy buying in the first place to get another two titles that I didn't fancy, free? (that lot, $75 to the UK!) No wonder Lukas is getting out of the selling biz with swines like me about!

Uhhhh....may be a stupid question, but does "FSM CDs" include the Retrograde titles, specifically Star Trek III?

Thanks for this offer - thankfully I didn't need to get anything yesterday, leaving me financially free to take this up. I have a massive list of FSM titles to get, which is now/soon to be 7 titles shorter.

To grab Eye of the Devil & Never So Few / 7 Women (7 Women is the score I'm really interested in there) for free I just picked up:

The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm / The Honeymoon Machine
Klute / All The President's Men
The Prize
The Wrath of God
Sex and the Single Girl / The Chapman Report

Can't wait for these to get here in a week or so. Thanks Lukas & SAE!
