What about compiling a list of composers who generally don't accept (or no longer do) autograph requests? It might save not only our time but their as well. I'd start with:
- Burwell, Carter
- Henson, Christian
There is probably a few others that do autographs occasionaly at the special events they sometimes participate in (premieres, cons, concerts, festivals,...):
- Elfman, Danny
- Horner, James
- McKenzie, Mark
- Preisner, Zbigniew
- Silvestri, Alan
- Williams, John
- Zimmer, Hans
It is possible that some of those might ocasionaly accept autograph requests in person or any other way, but those are probably the only exception to their rule.
Any additions, anyone???

Horner is very hard Thor, you really have to be at a press event he's at or a premier or know someone in the industry. I've been INCREDIBLY lucky, trust me and I value my few I have.
Carter Burwell doesn't sign and thinks it's odd, though my friend DID get one. He was at the Carter Burwell mini concert in NY and he went up to Burwell and he actually signed his Fargo. I could be wrong, but that may be one of the rarest autographs I know about. I offered him my house and 1 million, but he still wouldn't sign.

Years ago getting autographs often was done for the pure respect one had for the talent of a person in the field he was good at , sometimes great. Today and in recent history where so much autographs are gain for finacial benefits, i can understand why artists might not want to give autographs. It is a shame but that is the world we live in.
This is true unless the person decides to personalize it like John Murphy does with some of the discs he's signed for. Not only does he use my first name [ JOHNY ] but he always throws in a tag and draws on the CD booklet.
Almost all the stuff I have signed is because of interviews and that I've made the request. Zack Hemsey was pretty hesitant since he didn't think his signature was cool enough.

If Judge Dredd Complete ever gets released, I hope Lala Land does it and gets him to sign some booklets...ah to dream!
