The First to Volumes of Silvestri's CHips are some of the best fun summer music CDs! I will for sure be buying this volume this payday.

Silvestri fans should jump on all three volumes. As much as his other releases such as Predator sell out. CHips just hangs under the radar.

That's awesome. I love the first two CDs, so will most definitely get this one as well!
Thank you, FSM.

I love the first volume, but volume 2 not as much. Too many vocals for my taste and, somehow, the music just wasn't as catchy or something. They never hooked me in, as volume one did from the very opening.

Now volume three is sounding, so far, much more to my liking. Sadly for my bank account, I'm going to have to purchase it.

At first, I did think that the 'vocal' tracks on volume 2 de-railed the album a bit (thankfully they decided not to use them in the show itself....) but having listened again more recently to it (beyond those tracks), I think there is still a lot of catchy music on the rest of the album. Perhaps the vocal tracks would have been better spread throughout the CD rather than being grouped near the start?

Seeing as how the tracks demonstrate Silvestri's 'pioneering and experimentative' phase on the series, I wouldn't have advocated leaving these cues off, even if they are a bit annoying wink

Volume 3 was ordered immediately of course.

I am reevaluating volume 2 even as I type. Started listening deeper into the cd, post-vocals, and, yes, there's some fun stuff there. Still nothing that grabs me as much as Peaks and Valleys or High Explosive or a number of other tracks from volume 1 did.

Thank you so very much for releasing all the CHIPS CD's. A friend of mine gave me the first volume and I was so thrilled to find out that it had actually been released! I wait now for each disc with great excitement! Just put in my order for this new one!

Please PLEASE continue to release each season as done by Silvestri! (I hope they continue to release the DVD's too...)

Good to know that CHiPS is selling well to warrant another volume. These CDs are a lot of fun.

At last all Chips seasons are coming out as Soundtracks! I always dreamed that many years ago! I even searched everywhere for soundtracks of this serie.
What I don´t like is that some of the best titles are missing on the Cds! For example in Vol.1 there is only one title from the episodes: Grudge(the music of the CHIPS-Drill-team on their cycles, is missing) and Repo Man (the music when Jon saves the bus, is missing!)
Perhaps You bring on the last CD of the Series the missing titles? That would be wonderful, so far I´m happy that the other titles are available and for that I´m very thankful to Your team!

Anybody else notice an embryonic version of the "Back to the Future" theme in "The Hawk and the Hunter"?
