I like it.some of it is on my mp3 player.I gave it a bash yesterday.It's no work of art but still enjoyable.I also like Maire Brennan's use..It's quite ballsy in places.

I can't help myself, but this one's one hell of a ride...it's currently blasting through my speakers, and it rocks. Not much originality and/or musicality to be found, true, but I simply dig it.
Anybody else or am I once again the black sheep?

I like it too, but haven't listened to it for a while. I've got to go out later today, so maybe I will listen to it in my car then.
Update: Said car trip has been accomplished, and I listened to the soundtrack. I agree that it is a very good soundtrack, it's just a pity that the film is not up to par.

I know I like it, like The Last Samurai, but I haven't played either of them recently.
No film music-redefining masterpieces, but perfectly enjoyable. I don't expect every new score to be a classic masterpiece, especially with such people Goldsmith and Bernstein gone and Williams working sparingly (and then, it depends on the movie).
Going through my collection to re-arrange everything these past few days, I saw lots of CD's I thought I should listen to again, but of course there were too many to satisfy the urge and keep in mind.
Playing right now: Eight-Legged Freaks.
King Arthur might be next this afternoon. But then, come the time, I may not be in the mood to.

Yes, it's a nice score. I'll probably buy the CD if I find it cheap some day.
Can you believe it, not one negative remark so far?!
The director Antoine Fuqua has been quite consistent on his composer choices in his career - Harry Gregson-Williams on The Replacement Killers, Mark Mancina on Bait and Training Day, and Hans Zimmer on Tears Of The Sun and King Arthur. Let's see who he hires on his upcoming 3 movies.......

I think King Arthur is a great score. Although I have never seen the movie, I have listened to the cd several times. "Hold the Ice" is a favorite track of mine. I also like the song at the beginning of the album.
