I never thought I’d be this excited to revisit this score. The samples bring me right back to being a kid again when I first heard the soundtrack... bravo!

Seven days in May! I'm glad it didn't take 100 days of the dragon.
Twice, since every single track on the album seems to be exactly the same (based on name and length) as in the complete score program.
I don't like how they do it but I am willing to pay the extra $10 to finance a full score like this from someone like Horner. These aren't cheap projects and they don't write music like this anymore (or very rarely).
Some of those unreleased cue samples are top-drawer Horner. This is one of those scores that wasn't really on my radar for an expansion but now I'm excited to hear.
I remember catching the film a few times on telly over the years (I did see the film at the cinema originally) and hearing music, really good music, we never had on the old LP/CD, but I didn't know there was SO MUCH unreleased (or unused). The sad, plaintive stuff by Horner in this film (like COCOON) is both gorgeous AND heartbreaking. Lots of the suspense music is Horner riffing on Herrmann, to my ears. Really looking forward to this one
