Since Mr Zimmer has been taking a beating around this place lately, I thought I would add in some positive thinking to counter the 'negative waves' as Oddball would say.

Some of my favourite cues are (in no particular order):
-"All of Them!" from King Arthur
-"Time" from Inception
-"Chevaliers De Sangreal" from the Da Vinci Code
-"Science & Religion" from Angels & Demons
-"Maestro" from The Holiday
-"Psychological Recovery... 6 Months" from Sherlock Holmes

What are some of yours?

I will agree with you on The Da Vinci Code but I will add "Discombobulate" from Sherlock Holmes. I know this may not count since this film was a bit over ten years ago but I will go with my favorite Zimmer score Black Hawk Down. These two are "Vale of Plenty" and "Synchrotone."

Definitely "Earth" for me, too. I've really been digging the Man of Steel album lately.

If only you had said past 11 years, I could have voted for 'Red Warrior' from The Last Samurai..

"Dream is Collapsing" from Inception - my pick for possibly the most thrilling cue of the decade so far.

Get out of my head!

It was this cue that got me to re-evaluate Zimmer's music.

"Rango Suite". Marvelous piece of music.

Likewise "Psychological Recovery...6 Months" and "Catatonic".

"Dream is Collapsing" from Inception - my pick for possibly the most thrilling cue of the decade so far.

This is also the ringtone I use for when my job calls me. smile

As for Hans, the first thought was Last Samurai's "A Way Of Life" but thats past the ten year mark now (!!!). I'll have to go with "Imagine The Fire" from Dark Knight Rises (an otherwise awful affair) or "Cold War" from Amazing Spider-Man 2 (which is an otherwise slightly better affair than Dark Knight Rises).

I am SO not up to date when it comes to Zimmer the last 10 years. I am not really buying many full soundtracks any more, that's why I enjoy Zimmer compilations more and more, like the ones from Silva Screen. I hope there will be a volume 3 soon.

But I like Maestro from The Holiday and Old Souls from Inception, and stuff from Rush, The Bible, Kung Fu Panda, The Weather Man, Batman Begins and King Arthur.
