A question asked on another board got me thinking. Obviously not all composer assignments are in, and there will be changes and new and surprises, but for now my top 10 looks something like this:
1) How to Train Your Dragon 2 - Powell
2) Wolf Totem - Horner - Say what you will about the man, his music regularly speaks to my soul and my imagination in ways rarely matched by most of his peers in the business.
3) Jupiter Ascending - Giacchino - Curious about his Planet of the Apes score too, but his previous score with the Wachowskis remains one of my favorites by him so I can't wait to hear this one.
4) A Million Ways to Die in the West - McNeely - Again, say what you will about MacFarlane, but he's got good taste in movie music, and it'll be nice to see McNeely on a higher profile assignment.
5) The Hobbit: There and Back Again - Shore
6) The Legend of Hercules - Kantelinen - The movie looks incredible awful, but I'm always curious to hear what Kantelinen comes up with.
7) Beware the Night - Young - I'm a little wary of another Young score in such familiar territory, but the guy's been moving from strength to strength as far as my ears are concerned.
8) The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box - Velázquez - Another family adventure film from Velázquez? Count me in!
9) Big Eyes - Elfman - This looks like a perfect project for Elfman to sink his teeth into and give us something both intimate and weighty.
10) 1864 - Beltrami - And this looks like the perfect opportunity for Beltrami to spread his wings and give us something magnificent.
Also interested in:
Maleficent - Howard - A few years ago this would have made my top 10 and I have high hopes still!
Winter's Tale - Zimmer - Here's hoping for something beautiful Also curious about his Spider-Man.
The LEGO Movie - Mothersbaugh - From the team that brough us Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, this should be a fun score.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tyler
Noah - Mansell
Fury - Price
Who they will get to score Big Hero 6
Who they will get to score Hercules - Ratner's a crap director but he generally gets good scores!

For me, just There and Back Again, plus all 4 of Giacchino's 2014 scores (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jupiter Ascending, This Is Where I Leave You, and Tomorrowland).
Beyond that, hopefully John Williams will surprise us with another score (too bad Spielberg abandoned Robopacalypse, Interstellar and American Sniper). Hopefully Christopher Bacon, Chris Tilton and Christopher Lennertz (Just noticed 3 of my favorite working composers are all named Christpher!) will get juicy assignments somewhere.
EDIT: I forgot that Tomorrowland got pushed back into 2015.

I would like to see someone release Mancini's "Once Is Not Enough". It is a very interesting score for a not very interesting film.

I'll be very excited if the score for Interstellar is on the level of the one for Inception.
I hope that PTA works with Jonny Greenwood again on Inherent Vice.
I'm very much looking forward to both the film and the score for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
The subject matter of Annaud's Wolf Totem combined with a Horner score makes that a must.

I also thought we were talking catalog titles at first. I suppose the OP means "what 2014 scores are you looking forward to?"
Anyway, I'm eager to hear Powell's next Dragon score. Great melodies on the first one. I'm also interested in discovering what new foreign scores might cross my path, as they've been much more to my tastes in recent years than American ones.
