Favorite Score(s): |
Tagging one score as the favorite is almost impossible but can identify as my favorite genre -- scores for westerns and spaghetti westerns! But among my favorite scores, regardless of genre, is David Raksin's "Laura" -- so suited to the film, such a romantic and haunting melody! |
Favorite Composer(s): |
Herrmann, Raksin, Bernstein, Goldsmith, Mancini, Morricone--and that just scratches the surface because so many others -- golden age, silver age, or contemporary -- have composed really great and most listenable scores. |

Interests: |
Spending time with my grandson but never enough time for that or listening to all my favorite music genres--film scores, exotica (Martin Denny, Arthur Lyman, & Les Baxter, among many others), folk (Kingston Trio, Brothers Four, Bud & Travis), and easy listening (50 Guitars & Tijuana Brass) and new age. |
